Meet Denzel Grant
I’m Denzel Grant. I was born in Knoxville, raised in Austin Homes, and proud to raise my son in East Knoxville. I am a father, a veteran, and a community leader focused on violence prevention. District 6 is at a critical moment. Major projects like the new Smokies stadium, the transformation of Chilhowee Park, decisions about the Midway, Burlington streetscape improvements, and the future of the old police station are all on the horizon. These changes will impact who feels at home here, who gets to stay, and what kind of city we pass down to our children and grandchildren. I’m running because this isn’t just about development — it’s about making choices that reflect all of us. We need leadership that respects the wisdom of our elders, lifts up the voices of our youth, and brings people together to shape a future we can all be proud of. To the long-time residents and elders: I see you. I honor the paths you’ve paved and the roots you’ve planted. A vote for me is a vote to protect your legacy and ensure that your families have a real voice in shaping what’s next. To our young people: You belong at the table now, not later.
